Hello, my hubby lost his job at the beginning of the year after taking bereavement time to mourn the death of a close friend. Upon returning to his promised agreed time, we discovered the owner had replaced him weeks before with no mention. Christmas, just weeks prior to his leaving the daycare job, we adopted an escaped pitbull, which seemed obviously used for fighting. With much love and training, she is now a happy and balanced dog, and happens to be the charming hostess of our doggy daycare. We decided to start running a non-profit rescue and rehabilitation project for dogs. We've rescued two more pitbulls since, and paid $180 to a street gangster for a deaf 3-month old pitbull (see picture of me and her) whose fate was to breed numerous litters of fighting dogs only to be abandoned or killed in the end. They are all doing well, playing well and EATING well. So we could use some help in our rescue efforts. With the financial responsibilites added, it's been really difficult to keep up with the bills. My husband has now started his own pet sitting business, and although he gets new clients weekly, we're 3 months behind our mortgage. I run a socially and environmentally responsible graphic design home business (and I have a part time job) and I am looking for either a large heart or a large project(s) that will allow me to catch up with the bills. We are really good and hardworking people, we feel awkward asking for help because we're so self-reliant, but times are hard and we don't want the threat of losing our house lingering any longer. The mortgage company is forcing higher and unaffordable payments in order to cure the defaulted payments. If you can help, check out my website to see samples of my work.
